Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 83rd birthday with a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal joined virtually to extend his birthday wishes. Bachchan acknowledged Mohanlal’s talent and praised his acting prowess. Mohanlal has long admired Bachchan, calling him his favorite Hindi cinema actor. Bachchan’s upcoming projects include Brahmastra Part 2 and Kalki 2898 AD sequel.

Amitabh Bachchan recently celebrated his 83rd birthday on October 11, and his birthday celebrations on Kaun Banega Crorepati were extra special this year. Alongside Javed and Farhan Akhtar, the event got a heartfelt touch when Malayalam superstar Mohanlal joined virtually to wish Big B.Mohanlal’s heartfelt messageHe said, “Dear Amit Ji, wishing you a very happy birthday,” Mohanlal said in his video message. “You are an endless source of inspiration. Your discipline, humility, and strength are qualities the world continues to learn from. Every interaction with you reminds me how much there is to absorb from your journey. May you always be blessed with good health and happiness.”Amitabh’s responseBig B responded, “Thank you so much, Mohanlal ji.” Turning to Javed Akhtar, he added, “Sir, he recently received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. He is such a brilliant actor — whatever role you give him, he transforms completely. His face is God-gifted; every emotion flows naturally through his expressions.”Mohanlal’s long-standing admirationMohanlal’s admiration for the Shehensha of Bollywood is not new. In an old interview with Doordarshan, the Malayalam superstar called him his favourite actor in Hindi cinema. “All good actors are great in their own way. But if I must choose, it has to be Amitabh Bachchan. He is one of the greatest artistes in the country. His brilliance lies in his ability to transform and still remain relevant after so many decades,” Mohanlal had said.On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Brahmastra Part 2 along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. He also has the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD in his pipeline.
