Nike and avant-garde fashion label Windowsen have teamed up to launch an Air Max Muse collaboration, inspired by 1990s rave energy and futuristic runway aesthetics.

Through founder and designer Sensen Lii’s cyber-futuristic lens, the Nike Air Max Muse x Windowsen reimagines a modern classic with an emotive, sculptural aesthetic inspired by organic, almost biological structures.

The shoe’s signature Air Max silhouette is reinterpreted as a structural centerpiece, blending innovation and imagination in what Lii describes as a bridge between “science-fiction energy and wearable art.”

“At Windowsen, I’ve always been fascinated by transformation,” said Lii. “With Nike, I wanted to explore what the future of sport could look like — not just in how we move, but in how we express who we are.”

Two colorways embody Windowsen’s signature tension between energy and contrast. The sneakers feature morphing prints that appear to shift with movement, evoking a sense of kinetic motion. Subtle design details tie the collaboration to the Windowsen universe including a detachable alien-head lace charm, extraterrestrial symbols across the upper, and two-toed alien footprints hidden on the outsole and insole.

“I like hiding codes in my designs, waiting for the right people to decode them,” added Lii. “This sneaker is a portal to the unknown Windowsen universe.”

The partnership between the two brands was first revealed during the Victory Lap runway show at Shanghai Fashion Week earlier this year. The Nike Air Max Muse x Windowsen will launch globally on November 1 via Snkrs and at select Nike retail locations.
