NEW DELHI: Kerala BJP president and former union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar sustained minor injuries during a workout mishap involving a treadmill, after attempting to answer a ringing phone mid-run.The incident was revealed by Chandrasekhar himself in a social media post on X, where he recounted the episode with a touch of humour and shared images of bruises on his face.“So I learnt something today – with pain as a consequence,” he wrote. “If you are on a treadmill and try to reach out to a ringing phone – and are careless – there are chances you can slip and fall and scrape your face or injure yourself.” “I have the embarrassing pain and scars to prove it. Moral of the story: use phone on a treadmill with extreme caution,” he added in the post, which has since drawn responses ranging from concern to light-hearted reactions online.Chandrasekhar did not mention where the incident occurred. However, images shared showed minor injuries to his forehead and face. The BJP leader, known for posting updates about his fitness routine, has often shared glimpses of his workout sessions on social media platforms.
