‘Kantara Chapter 1’ box office collection day 4 (Live): Rishab Shetty starrer peaks across locations, set to reach rs 200 crore in India

‘Kantara Chapter 1’, starring and directed by Rishab Shetty, has captivated audiences with its excellent depiction of the ancient Kadamba era, along with its unique stage art. The oan-Indian film was released on October 2nd and received a good reception in theaters well beyond the festival season. Since it was released in multiple languages, it attracted crowds from many parts of India.

Fans rave about Bhoota Kola festival scenes

On its first day, Thursday, the film’s worldwide collection reached Rs 61.85 crore, as per Sacnilk, and took advantage of the Holiday release. Of this, Rs 19.6 crore was collected by Kannada version, Rs 13 crore in Telugu, Rs 18.5 crore in Hindi, Rs 5.5 crore in Tamil dubs, and Rs 5.25 crore in Malayalam. On the first day, fans greatly appreciated the film’s story, visuals, and the depiction of the Bhoota Kola festival. The next day, Friday, the collection was down by about 25.63 percent, and the film earned Rs 46 crore in India on the day.

‘Kantara Chapter 1’ domestic earnings near Rs 170 crore

After a slight decline on Saturday, the film again gathered a huge crowd in the theatres, registering a collection of ₹55.25 crore on the third day. The Kannada version had collected Rs 14.5 crore, Telugu Rs 11.75 crore, Hindi Rs 19 crore, Tamil Rs 5.75 crore, and Malayalam Rs 4.25 crore. The mythological action drama got off to a firm start with Rs 12.52 crore from its morning shows on Sunday. The India box office collection of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ reached Rs 170 crore, and the film is anticipated to surpass the 200 crore mark at the end of the day.

Star-studded cast and Ajaneesh Loknath’s music add depth

‘Kantara Chapter 1’ features Rishab Shetty in the lead role with Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram, Kishore, and Rakesh Kumar among others. Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music, and his background score elevated the film well. Go to Source
