Telugu cinema’s Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’ had a grand worldwide release on September 25. Directed by Sujeeth, this mass action film created huge expectations among the fans with the tagline ‘Firestorm of Mumbai’. A record start for ‘OG’
As per Sacnilk, the Pawan Kalyan starrer collected Rs 63.75 crore net across India on the opening day. The majority of this came from the Telugu states, Rs 63 crore. It also received a decent start in Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. The film’s first week collection reached a staggering total of Rs 169.3 crore. Of this, the Telugu version alone earned Rs 164.75 crore.
Pawan Kalyan’s film nears Rs 180 crore in India
Despite retaining most of its screens in its second week, the film suffered a slight decline. On the 9th day, the collection fell to Rs 4.75 crore. However, on the next day, the film saw a slight improvement and collected Rs 5 crore in India. With this, the total collection of ‘OG’ in its first 10 days across India has reached Rs 179.05 crore, while the global box office collection of the film is said to be over Rs 200 crore in 10 days.
