Kriti Sanon has wrapped the Sicily shoot of ‘Cocktail 2’, sharing behind-the-scenes photos with director Homi Adajania and the cast. The sequel, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Shahid Kapoor, follows the 2012 original. Kriti is also set for ‘Tere Ishq Mein’, releasing November 28 in Hindi and Tamil.

Kriti Sanon has announced the successful completion of the Sicily shoot for her upcoming movie ‘Cocktail 2. The actress thanked the cast and crew and shared joyful behind-the-scenes moments, celebrating the wrap of this scenic portion of filming.

Along with the photos, she wrote on Instagram, “Ciao my Bellas. And just like that we’ve wrapped #TheSicilianChapter of #Cocktail2. Sunshine, rain and ending with a beautiful Rainbow.” The images featured the director, Homi Adajania, highlighting the joyful bond shared by the cast and crew during their time filming in Italy. They gave a peek into the wrap party, showcasing festive moments set against the stunning Sicilian scenery. Kriti appeared in photos with the team enjoying a dessert and also posted several pictures of the breathtaking locations.


About ‘Cocktail 2’

‘Cocktail 2’ is the much-awaited follow-up to the 2012 romantic drama, ‘Cocktail’, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. The first film, directed by Homi Adajania and penned by Imtiaz Ali, centered around a complicated love triangle between a man and two best friends with very different personalities. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the sequel’s screenplay is crafted by Luv Ranjan.

New ensemble cast of ‘Cocktail 2’

Interestingly, Rashmika Mandanna is collaborating with Sanon and Shahid Kapoor for the first time in this film. The last time Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor appeared together was in the 2024 romantic drama ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, making this reunion highly anticipated.

Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film, ‘Tere Ishq Mein’

Kriti Sanon is also gearing up for the release of ‘Tere Ishq Mein’, a spin-off of the 2013 movie ‘Raanjhanaa’. Directed by Aanand L Rai and starring Dhanush, the film will come out in theaters on November 28 in both Hindi and Tamil.
