Bhatt faces backlash for feeding ‘human flesh’: ‘Ruining Alia’s career’

Mahesh Bhatt gets trolled after he confesses feeding 'human flesh' to an investor given by a tantrik:'He's ruining Alia Bhatt's image'

Film-maker Mahesh Bhatt recently made a weird, bold confession. He revealed that when he was a struggler, in order to get money from an investor, he actually fed him human flesh, as per instructions given by a ‘tantrik’. As the ‘Arth’ director spoke about his journey, struggling days, marriage to his first wife and then falling in love with Soni Razdan and his children, the film-maker’s confession about feeding ‘human flesh’ has now largely come in the limelight and thus led to netizens trolling him. Bhatt said on Pooja Bhatt’s new podcast that when he was in his 20s, he once went to Varanasi with his friend Arun Desai and met a guru. He said, “There was a queue of very poor people waiting to have an audience with that guruji. He was a tantrik, a young man who held a bottle of rum in his hand and would keep on dancing.” He revealed further, “He pulled out a piece and he made a pudiya out of it, and he said this is human flesh, which has been taken out from the ghats. He said, ‘Take this and feed it to your potential investor, and he will give you money.’” Bhatt felt he had found the key to this kingdom of money. He said that there was this zamindar in the outskirts of Gaya who came up with the idea of disguising human flesh as a pan. Then it struck us, to buy a paan and put this on a paan and give it to him,” Bhatt said. Describing how this investor had this human flesh in paan form, Bhatt said further, “And slowly, he brought it close to his mouth and then, he started chewing it. We felt that we have hit the bull’s eye.” But a month later, the same friend told him that they are not getting any money from the investor. Mahesh Bhatt’s confession has now led to strong reactions from netizens who seem disgusted.

A user said, “When we cremate the dead body, it is supposed to be guarded as it is used for all these purposes. I am rather surprised he is making this public.” Another wrote, “This man is such a creep! Sounds believable, he could totally fall to this level.”People also felt that he should have just kept this a secret. One comment read, “Umm, why is this man not cancelled for shit like this?” Another read, “Where did the tantric even get the flesh from?” Someone else wrote, “Um, whose flesh did he use?” A person also said that he’s ruining Alia Bhatt’s image with these confessions. “Papa is trying to ruin everything that Alia is trying to build. This isn’t the image she wants.” Someone wrote, “This is one of those secrets one should take with them to the grave.” Go to Source
