Talking to the media Mammootty said, “Cinema is the job I love the most. I know that everyone prayed for me. To say that all those prayers have borne fruit is more than enough. This is proof that prayers made with love will always be answered. My happiness and gratitude to everyone. Thank you, thank you, to those who remembered and those who loved.”
Director Mahesh Narayanan welcomes Mammootty back
Filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, as reported by Manorama Online, expressed his happiness about Mammootty’s return to the location. “I am truly delighted that Mammukka has returned to the location. I don’t have much else to say. The shoot is going on. Mammukka was with us for almost 50 days of shooting before he took a break. Now, we have 6 days of shooting scheduled in Hyderabad, and after that, we will move to the UK. Chackochan is here, and a few other actors as well,” Mahesh said.
From rumours to relief
For weeks, speculation about Mammootty’s health had stirred concern among fans. However, in August, his secretary George Sebastian confirmed that the veteran actor had fully recovered. The reassurance was further strengthened when Mammootty celebrated his 74th birthday on September 7. Recently the actor shared a post on Instagram that read, “Back to doing what I love most in life after a short break. Words aren’t enough to thank everyone who checked on me during my absence.
