Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘They Call Him OG’ directed by Sujeeth has been raking in big numbers at the box office. After opening to thunderous numbers, the film is enjoying steady collections, making over Rs 7.50 crore on day eight of its release.They Call Him OG Movie ReviewAs per Sacnilk, the gangster action film minted over Rs 7.50 crore on Gandhi Jayanti. With this, the movie’s total domestic collection has now climbed to Rs 169.10 crore. The Dussehra holiday certainly worked in its favour. Even facing a clash with the Kannada blockbuster ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, the film had a good collection.The film had earlier witnessed a massive Rs 63.75 crore opening on Day 1, followed by collections in the range of Rs 18.50 crore each day for the next three days. While Monday saw a dip with Rs 7.40 crore, the film has since been holding strong with consistent numbers.

‘They Call Him OG’ also enjoyed healthy occupancy rates, particularly in Telugu-speaking regions. On October 2, the film registered an overall 43.78% Telugu occupancy. Morning shows reported a 21.30% turnout, which rose by evening to 57.26%, showing the film’s sustained appeal through the day. Night shows maintained momentum at 49.38%. The Hindi version had a modest response, with 9.84% overall occupancy. Morning shows recorded just 1.33%, but the evening and night slots saw improved turnouts of 12.58% and 17.52% respectively. While the Hindi version has not replicated the Telugu success, the film is gradually picking up pace outside its core market.

Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a feared Mumbai gangster making a comeback after years. Emraan Hashmi, who marks his Tollywood debut with the film, essays the antagonist Omi Bhau.
