Hundreds of food and other packages lined up neatly on the pedestrian path and hung on the boundary walls outside university campuses in China almost never go missing. Since many Chinese institutions do not permit courier services inside campus, delivery executives leave them at the gates and the students collect them after checking their names.

The universities have set up “last-50-meters” drop zones to control traffic and litter. This everyday trust has become a normal part of campus life and makes Chinese universities remarkably theft-free.

The system is organised, smooth, and completely theft-free, showing how disciplined and responsible students can be.

Recent clips show bags of meals stacked neatly, waiting for students to pick them up. The process is calm and efficient, with no pushing, confusion, or theft. This simple system also saves time for delivery drivers while ensuring students get their meals safely.

Internet Praises Students’ Honesty

People on social media have praised the honesty of Chinese students.

A user said, “I have lived in China for 11 years. Safest country in the world.”

Another wrote, “I just came back from a trip to China. I’ve never felt safer anywhere else.”

A person shared, “My friends forgot their suitcase in a taxi and only remembered half a day later. It was still there, untouched.”

Others commented, “Maybe it’s called civic sense,” and “Well done China.”

Some even joked, “Are there no birds or squirrels? They’d have a feast!”

Video Shows Students Collecting Food

Earlier in September, this same system was on full display in a video showing students collecting their food with impressive calm and order.

Watch the video here:

Each student checked the names on the bags and took only their own, while delivery agents left the orders neatly at the campus entrance. There was no pushing, confusion, or mix-ups, even when multiple orders were waiting.

The smooth process works largely because students respect each other’s belongings and follow the rules. Many people online praised this disciplined approach, saying it reflects the honesty, responsibility, and civic sense that is highly valued in China.
