Kakinada horror: Youth kills minor girlfriend by slitting her throat; later commits suicide

KAKINADA: In a bizarre incident that took place in Kakinada district, a youth has killed his girl friend and later committed suicide. Kommuru Ashok and a minor girl belong to the same village in Gollaprolu mandal are in friendship for quite some time. On Tuesday midnight, Ashok called the 17 year-old girl to a temple in Panasapadu village. Later, he slit the throat of the girl with a blade and the girl died on the spot. Later, Ashok committed suicide on the railway track near Vetla Palem village. The police are suspecting that the accused resorted to this dastardly act suspecting the fidelity of the girl. Samalkota Inspector A Krishna Bhagawan is investigating the case. Ashok is in love with the minor girl for quite some time. Recently, the girl has stopped responding his phone calls and messages. The parents of the girl are not happy with their relationship. The girl was sent to the house of her uncle in Indra Palem during Dasara holidays. He has discontinued his studies and went to Chennai in search of a job 20 days back. He returned back from Chennai to Kakinada. He called the girl to the a temple in Panasapadu village where he killed her with a blade. Later, he committed suicide on the railway track near Gudaparthi railway gate near Vetla Palem village which is four kilometers away from the scene of offence. After examining the phone records, the police have found that the accused was irked by the fact that the girl was not talking to him on the behest of their parents. He also suspected reportedly suspected the fidelity of the girl.
