It looks like it is time to party in London for Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, after a gruelling week of diplomacy.

According to sources, Shehbaz Sharif has decided to extend his stay in London till October 2 and will return to Islamabad on that day.

The sources said Shehbaz arrived in London on September 27 after attending the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. He is scheduled to meet his medical experts for a fitness examination, they said.

A close source said he has directed his staff to explore London for a relaxing time. He wants some family time, for which he has extended his stay, the source said.

The Prime Minister plans to go shopping and enjoy fine dining in London, as doctors have advised him to maintain a stress-free lifestyle, the source said. Additionally, he has scheduled more meetings in London with family, friends, and the business community. the source added. He is known to like Edgware Street and some old suiting stores, as per sources.

The PM had multiple engagements in New York, where he led Pakistan’s delegation to the 80th session of the UNGA. He also met US President Donald Trump for a bilateral meeting on the sidelines, calling it a “productive” and “constructive” engagement.

After he touched down in London, on September 28, he addressed overseas Pakistanis at the High Commission in London. He was accompanied by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
