Akshay reveals his trick to avoid drinks at parties

Akshay Kumar reveals his trick to avoid drinks at parties; admits eating chole puri, jalebis, barfis: 'I have to fool people…'

Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar, is known for his rock-solid routine and unmatched fitness. Even at 58, he continues to turn heads with his toned physique, proving that age is just a number. But beyond his high-octane on-screen stunts, Akshay has recently revealed some surprising truths about his diet, his love for sweets, and the quirky habits that keep him going.

Akshay Kumar enjoys all kinds of food, even jalebis!

Contrary to popular belief, the ‘Rowdy Rathore’ actor says he eats everything he likes. In an interview with ABP News, he said, “I eat chole puri. I’m not one of those who are constantly counting calories or protein intake. I live a normal life, even if somebody doesn’t believe it. Till today, I eat jalebis, and barfis; whatever I want to eat, I eat.”

Akshay Kumar follows a strict early evening rule

The ‘Kesari’ actor revealed one rule he always follows. “But one thing is that I never eat anything after 6:30 pm, before sunset. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been following this. However, sometimes it does happen that it’s a friend’s birthday or something, then you just taste the cake out of courtesy.”

Akshay Kumar fools people by doing fake cheers

The ‘Mohra’ actor also explained his approach to alcohol at parties, saying, “Sometimes, I have to fool people as they give drinks and I do cheers with them but then throw it away because I don’t even enjoy it.”

Akshay Kumar on the work front

Akshay was last seen in ‘Jolly LLB 3’, co-starring Arshad Warsi. He will next appear in Priyadarshan’s horror comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’ alongside Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Paresh Rawal. He is also reuniting with Priyadarshan for ‘Haiwaan’, teaming up with Saif Ali Khan for the first time since ‘Tashan’, and will also feature in ‘Hera Pheri 3’ with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty.
