Virat Kohli shares sweet moment with Anushka Sharma

Virat Kohli shares sweet moment with Anushka Sharma, rests his cheek on her forehead: ‘Been a minute’

Cricketer Virat Kohli shared a heartwarming picture with wife Anushka Sharma on Saturday, instantly making fans swoon. In the snap, Virat gently rests his cheek on Anushka’s forehead while both look directly at the camera with beaming smiles.Posting the picture on Instagram, Virat captioned it, “Been a minute,” acknowledging it had been a while since he last shared a photo of the two of them together. Virat looked dapper in a long blue coat, while Anushka chose a grey sweater paired with a white top, making for an effortlessly adorable couple moment.

Family outing in London

Just days ago, the couple was spotted out with their son, Akaay, in London. Pictures showed Anushka pushing Akaay’s stroller in comfortable athleisure wear—maroon leggings, matching sweatshirt, white sneakers, and a cap—while Virat walked alongside her in a casual brown sweatshirt, light blue jeans, white sneakers, and a beanie. Their stroll through the colourful streets of London reflected the couple’s grounded and family-oriented life away from the spotlight.

A spiritual journey amid busy lives

Beyond cricket and films, Virat and Anushka have embraced spirituality, seeking calm and balance. The couple has been spotted at spiritual retreats across India, from Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh to Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram in Vrindavan.Motivational and spiritual speaker Jaya Kishori, in an interview with Instant Bollywood, spoke about the couple’s spiritual pursuits. “A truly successful person is one who goes on a spiritual path. Only then will he be able to bring peace in his success, his family, and everything,” she said. She added that despite having “everything—work, money, house—they were missing that peace, which led them towards spirituality. They still have everything, but now they also have peace.” Praising the balance they maintain, she continued, “They didn’t leave everything—not their home, not their work, not their family. They balanced it all, and that balance comes from spirituality. This is what we call a complete life.”

Prioritising family and inner peace

Since announcing his retirement from Test cricket in May 2025, Virat and Anushka have been focusing on family time and their spiritual well-being over public appearances. Currently they are leading a happy life in London with their children, Vamika and Akaay. Go to Source
