Aryan didn’t direct The Ba***ds of Bollywood? Anya reveals

Did Aryan Khan not direct The Ba***ds of Bollywood? Anya Singh reveals, 'He knew there'd be conversations and...'

Aryan Khan’s series, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, is gaining positive feedback. Anya Singh supports Aryan against claims of a ghost director. She praises his hard work and vision. Anya mentions Aryan chose a young crew. The series features Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, and others. It also includes cameos by Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.

When Aryan Khan revealed he was venturing into filmmaking, many assumed his famous last name would be the main focus. But his debut series The Ba***ds of Bollywood is getting attention for another reason – it actually works. Actor Anya Singh believes Aryan deserves full credit for pulling off such a project at 28.

Anya defends Aryan against ghost director claims

Reacting to the claims that suggested a ghost director might have been involved, Anya told Hindustan Times, “I feel people just want an opportunity to bring another person down.”Elaborating further, she added, “That’s why I say he is so deserving of every good thing everyone is saying about him. He has worked really hard on this project. From 7 in the morning to 11 PM, his energy never dropped. You never saw him sigh. He was always smiling and so focused.”

Sticking to his vision with a young crew

The actress further stated that the young Khan purposely chose to work with a younger crew rather than veteran technicians. “He is a young guy who stuck by his vision. It was very brave of him to do this. He knew there’d be conversations and chatter, but he did not question his vision at any point. I have a lot of respect for how he has stood by his own thoughts,” Anya shared. The Ba***ds of Bollywood is currently streaming on an OTT giant and has been receiving positive reviews from all sides. It stars Lakshya in the lead, with Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor in key roles. It features cameo appearances by 21 celebrities, including Bollywood heavyweights like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and others.
