Sai Pallavi gets trolled for wearing a swimsuit during beach vacation with sister Pooja Kannan, fans come to her defence

Sai Pallavi, often celebrated for her simplicity and traditional on-screen image, recently found herself at the center of online trolling after vacation pictures with her sister Pooja Kannan surfaced. The duo had gone on a beach getaway, and Pooja shared glimpses of their time together on Instagram.

While most of the pictures showed Pooja smiling by the shore or posing with her sister, a few snaps of Sai in a swimsuit drew unwanted attention. Trolls flooded the comments section with remarks mocking her for wearing beachwear, contrasting it with her traditional screen persona. One wrote, “So onscreen traditional Sai Pallavi wears a bikini in real life,” while another added, “Traditional ammai,” with laughter emojis.

Fans come to her defence

But fans quickly stepped in to shield the actress from the backlash. “What do you expect to wear underwater? A saree?? C’mon,” one fan quipped. Another commented, “It’s her wish, what she wants to wear. People can wear what they are comfortable with.” Others pointed out that some morphed pictures being circulated were only adding to the unnecessary negativity.

Sai Pallavi’s upcoming films

On the work front, Sai Pallavi was last seen opposite Naga Chaitanya in Thandel. She will next be seen as Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. The actress is also part of Sunil Pandey’s upcoming film with Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan.
