JW Anderson reopens redesigned London store, launches Wedgwood collaboration

JW Anderson has reopened its Soho store in London, marking a key step in the label’s ongoing rebranding journey.

Redesigned in partnership with Sanchez Benton Architects, the space takes cues from the Shaker Movement, the 18th-century American religious society known for its principles of simplicity and communal living — a theme that also runs through the Resort 2026 collection.

Coinciding with the reopening, the brand introduced its first collaboration with Wedgwood and the Estate of Lucie Rie. The limited-edition homeware line, handcrafted by Wedgwood artisans, features previously unproduced cups and saucers by the late British potter Lucie Rie, alongside mugs inspired by 5th-century Greek designs from Jonathan Anderson’s personal archive.

The store and the collaboration underscore JW Anderson’s push to evolve into a full fledge lifestyle brand, with a growing focus on art, craftsmanship, accessories, and homewares. Earlier this month, the label also unveiled a revamped website as part of the rebrand.

The moves come as Anderson takes on a larger role at Dior, where he was named creative director of women’s, men’s, and haute couture collections earlier this year. It marks the first time a single designer has overseen all three disciplines since the house’s founder, Christian Dior.
