THIS actress made her debut in an Aditya Chopra production, worked with Shahid Kapoor and Salman Khan, but QUIT Bollywood to pursue Vedic astrology

Most aspiring Bollywood talents can only dream of a debut with a top production house. This actress got that big break in a film backed by Aditya Chopra. She went on to work with Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill, Shahid Kapoor, and Kunal Kemmu. Though she enjoyed early success, she somehow disappeared from show business. Well, the actress is none other than Tulip Joshi. Let’s learn more about her Bollywood journey.

Tulip Joshi’s debut and journey in Bollywood

Tulip Joshi made her debut with the 2002 film ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’, co-starring Uday Chopra and Jimmy Shergill. The actress impressed the audience with her performance in the film. Later, she featured in films like ‘Dil Maange More’, co-starring Shahid Kapoor, and ‘Dhokha’, helmed by Pooja Bhatt. She also did ‘Matrubhoomi: A Nation Without Women’, which earned international recognition.

In 2008, she starred in ‘Superstar’, alongside Kunal Kemmu. In the following years, she ventured into regional cinema and worked in several Punjabi movies along with Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films.She was last seen in the Salman Khan starrer ‘Jai Ho’ in a cameo that saw her play the role of Mrs. D’Souza. In total, the actress reportedly starred in over 20 films in her career.

Why she quit Bollywood

However, eventually, the actress disappeared from the industry and embraced spirituality. She eventually found her calling in Vedic astrology and became an astrologer, meditation guide, and lifestyle coach.The actress got married to Captain Vinod Nair, and the couple co-founded a wellness and management firm called Kimaya. The actress is currently living her life away from the limelight of Bollywood with her family.
