Aryan drops Easter Egg about Ranveer’s ‘Don 3’

'The Ba***ds of Bollywood': Did Aryan Khan drop a MAJOR Easter Egg about Ranveer Singh’s 'Don 3'? - WATCH

Aryan Khan’s directorial debut ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ has social media abuzz with all the cinematic nods, references to real-life events and even some inside Bollywood scoop. Among the many moments that sent fans into a frenzy online, was a scene involving actor Ranveer Singh.

Aryan introduces Ranveer as Don

In an impressive cameo, Ranveer brings his quirky charm, wit and humour. He appears in a brief scuffle scene, but it was a tiny detail about the clip that had fans drawing all kinds of speculations. The clip sees Ranveer getting into a tussle; interestingly, this is set to the tune of “Aaj Ki Raat,” the iconic soundtrack from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don’ franchise. For fans of the hit franchise, this led fans to speculate that Aryan may have just introduced the audience to their new ‘Don’. “Guess that settles it,” one fan tweeted, convinced Aryan just teased Ranveer’s arrival. Another said, “NOT THEM PLAYING DON THEME TUNE ON RANVEER SUBTLY PREPPING US FOR DON 3 GOSHH DAMNN.”

Buzz around ‘Don 3’

The timing is curious. The much-discussed ‘Don 3’ has been surrounded by conflicting reports. In 2023, Ranveer was announced as the director Farhan Akhtar’s new Don. Since then, there have been multiple delays, with some insiders claiming the film is delayed or even shelved, while others insist production will roll out next year. Singh’s casting as Don created waves online with many demanding Shah Rukh’s return. Speaking on Raj Shamani’s podcast, director Farhan shed light on the controversial decision, explaining, “The kind of script that we were writing, what I wanted to do with it… it needed this next-generation actor in it. Ranveer is mischievous, just full of energy, which is what this needs…”

Why Shah Rukh Khan is not returning as Don

Revealing why SRK ultimately stepped away, Farhan added, “There were a couple of ideas that we exchanged, wrote some stuff also but somehow… that synergy on a script didn’t happen. It didn’t happen on this.” Go to Source
