In a bid to spotlight the nation’s creative talent and foster community participation, the Eid Al Etihad Team has launched a country-wide open call inviting artists, designers, creative businesses, and manufacturers to contribute original merchandise concepts for the upcoming 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader national theme — the Year of Community — and emphasizes inclusive collaboration, national identity, and shared joy.

54th Eid Al Etihad: Creative call for community involvement

Set against the backdrop of the UAE’s union commemoration on 2 December 2025, this year’s Eid Al Etihad marks 54 years since the federation was formed in 1971. The open call, launched by the Eid Al Etihad Team, is a public invitation to the country’s creative ecosystem — from individual artists to manufacturers — to submit original merchandise concepts that go beyond standard products.Applicants are asked to design meaningful keepsakes that embody the spirit of unity and memory. These items should reflect the UAE’s heritage, identity, and cultural richness while fostering a sense of collective celebration and emotional connection across communities.

Eisa Alsubousi, Director of Strategic and Creative Affairs for the Eid Al Etihad Team, underlined the purpose behind the initiative, stating:“This open call is an opportunity for partnership and inclusion, where creativity connects people and strengthens the emotional bond with our shared national story. We’re excited to collaborate with our creative community to develop sustainable merchandise rooted in our heritage, community, and unity, evoking joy for the present and excitement for the future we build together.”The merchandise is intended to serve as symbols of remembrance and cultural pride, celebrating both past milestones and the shared future of the UAE. The initiative emphasizes sustainability, collaboration, and community storytelling as core pillars of the merchandise selection and development process.

Open call details and participation guidelines for the 54th Eid Al Etihad
