Tyler Robinson’s Discord group chat leaked: No one understands what made him shoot Charlie Kirk

Tyler Robinson's Discord group chat leaked: No one understands what made him shoot Charlie Kirk

Tyler Robinson’s Discord messages to his friends’ group have been leaked.

The Discord messages that Tyler Robinson, the accused killer of Charlie Kirk posted on his group where he also admitted that he killed Kirk, have been revealed, raising questions about his motivation to drive to Utah Valley University and shoot Kirk. The prosecutors have established his hatred for Charlie Kirk as the main motive but the Discord group messages show that he was mostly apolitical. The chats were published by journalist Ken Klippenstein on his Substack. There is no confirmation about the authenticity of the chats from any authorities. FBI director Kash Patel announced Tuesday that more than 20 people who are part of the Discord group chat are under investigation, as they were aware of what Robinson did. Robinson’s boyfriend Lance Twiggs was also aware, as his chats with the accused revealed. Robinson’s chats with Twiggs were part of the indictment document though speculations were rife whether those chats were real as social media users claimed that 22-year-olds do not chat in full sentences as produced in the court document.

‘Bro (Charlie Kirk)didn’t deserve to go out like that sad’

On the Discord group chat, a person commented on Charlie Kirk’s assassination and lamented that he did not deserve to die like that before Robinson admitted that he was the killer. “Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. it was meat UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this. im surendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments. thanks for all the good times and laughs, you’ve all been so amazing. thank you all for everything,” Robinson wrote.Going by the leaked chats, his friends did not believe that Tyler was confessing to his crime, and they thought it was a joke. “Hey everyone, if you have not seen the news yet Tyler’s post above it true. He was taken into custody earlier today for the shooting of Charlie Kirk,” one wrote after Tyler’s confession, adding a prayer for both Tyler and Charlie Kirk.”Regardless of the horrible actions that took place we must take this moment to remember that God is a living and loving God who loves all his children. God calls sinners to be his Saints and I ask that you all take a quiet moment to pray for Tyler and his repentance,” the messages said. “While Charlie Kirk’s politics were not acceptable to some I ask that we all say a prayer for him and his family during these confusing times,” the message read.
