Ranveer Singh to wrap up ‘Dhurandhar’ shoot in October; plans to begin ‘Don 3’ in January 2026 - Reports

Ranveer Singh is set to finish shooting for ‘Dhurandhar’ by mid-October 2025, with the film releasing December 5. He plans to start preparations for ‘Don 3’ in late October, aiming to begin shooting in January 2026. The ‘Don 3’ shoot will include global locations, mainly across Europe.

Ranveer Singh is all set to unleash an intense side with the upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’, directed by Aditya Dhar. As per the recent reports, the production of this project is nearing completion, with the team planning to finish filming by October 15, 2025.

Final stages of filming ‘Dhurandhar’

According to Pinkvilla, the last leg of ‘Dhurandhar’ shoot is going on in full swing and Ranveer Singh would wrap up his portion of scenes in the first week of October. The remaining star-cast of the film will shoot for another 10-days, and wrap it up by October 15. Parallelly, the editing of the film is ongoing in full swing. Around 65 percent of the editing has been locked on the table, and the first copy of the film outside of some technical touch-ups is expected to be ready by the end of October. Additionally, post-production teams are racing to the finish line to bring ‘Dhurandhar’ to the fore on December 5.

Preparing for ‘Don 3’

Reportedly, Ranveer begins his prep work for ‘Don 3’ by the end of October, with the intent of starting shoot from the month of January. He will be begin script reading sessions with Farhan Akhtar and also work with the action team. Reportedly, big action sequences are on the cards featuring Singh.

‘Don 3’s global shoot

‘Don 3’ is slated to be filmed across various locations, with major shoot schedules planned across Europe. The film, starring Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon, is anticipated to be the franchise’s most lavish installment to date. Internationally acclaimed action directors have been onboarded as Farhan Akhtar plans to infuse the new ‘Don’ film with a James Bond-style flair.

Other upcoming projects

Besides ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Don 3’, Ranveer Singh is also set to star in a zombie movie directed by Jai Mehta, with filming planned for the second half of 2026. Additionally, he is in talks for a time-travel project with Maddock Productions, which will be directed by Amit Ravindranath Sharma. Go to Source
