Huma Qureshi engaged to longterm boyfriend Rachit Singh? Here's what we know!

Huma Qureshi is riding high, both personally and professionally. Her film Bayaan had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2025, marking her first appearance at TIFF as an actor and executive producer. But the buzz isn’t just about her career, word is that Huma is now engaged to her long-time rumoured partner, acting coach Rachit Singh.Speculation about their relationship first caught fire when their close friend, singer Akasa Singh, posted a candid photo with the duo. Alongside it, she wrote, “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night.” The post was enough to set gossip mills running.

Soon after, Huma and Rachit turned heads at Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding, where they showed up in matching pink outfits. Their easy chemistry didn’t go unnoticed, and fans immediately began digging into who the man at Huma’s side was. More recently, Huma was seen celebrating Rachit’s birthday at a private gathering, further fuelling chatter about their engagement.

Rachit himself is well-known in the film industry. A respected acting coach, he has worked with the likes of Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Vicky Kaushal, and also made his on-screen debut with the series Karmma Calling. His bond with Huma has been the subject of quiet speculation for a while, the two were even spotted together at Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s party for Ed Sheeran in March 2024, where they appeared particularly close. Rachit also posted a picture with Huma from his birthday celebrations recently. Before finding love with Rachit, Huma was in a long-term relationship with filmmaker Mudassar Aziz, which came to an end in 2022. On work front, Huma is also balancing her production house along with acting. She was last seen in ‘Maharani’ season 3.
