Hours after conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was shot dead during a rally at Utah Valley University, attention turned to his outspoken views on global conflicts, including his controversial commentary on Operation Sindoor, India’s military response during its brief four-day war with Pakistan in May.

Charlie Kirk, 31, a staunch supporter of US President Donald Trump and co-founder of Turning Point USA, often leveraged his platform to oppose immigration and question America’s foreign policy commitments.

What Charlie Kirk Said On India-Pakistan War

On his podcast, Charlie Kirk urged the Donald Trump administration to steer clear of the India-Pakistan clash sparked by the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 22 people. He described Pakistan as a “sneaky actor” that “sheltered Bin Laden,” while framing India’s military operation as a justified retaliation against Islamic terror.

“India and Pakistan are on the verge of a war. Pakistan is 100% Muslim… India is mostly Hindu. They don’t care for each other much at all,” Charlie Kirk said.

He emphasized the nuclear dimension but downplayed the risks of escalation as he opined, “I do not believe this will escalate in any way, shape or form to nuclear power. Look, we hope for negotiations, but this is a great test of whether or not every conflict is America’s problem.”

‘Moral Support, Nothing More’

Charlie Kirk’s refrain was consistent with Donald Trump-era rhetoric about avoiding foreign entanglements. He drew a sharp line against US military involvement, saying, “This is not our war. Maybe we slightly favour India because they’re retaliating to Islamic terror, but that should go no further than moral support. That is it. This is not our conflict to get involved in.”

He warned against “American overreach,” calling Washington’s hawks reckless for pushing deeper involvement in distant wars. For Charlie Kirk, Operation Sindoor was not a test of US military resolve but of restraint.
