Perez Hilton was hospitalised for three weeks in March 2026

Perez Hilton reportedly had been suffering from mental health issues. In March 2026, the celebrity blogger was hospitalised for three weeks for battling the flu that later developed into an ulcer, then a perforation, and then Sepsis. He shared a YouTube video detailing the ‘crazy’ saga he endured. Despite having the flu for an entire week, Hilton did not take any medication, which resulted in an ulcer, then a perforation and ultimately, sepsis.“My stupidity landed me in the hospital for 21 days. It was the worst and best thing that’s ever happened to me,” he said in the clip, adding that the experience has led him to appreciate his family even more. Hilton, born Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr, fathers three children who were welcomed via surrogacy. “I’m going to have dinner with my kids and my mom every night from now on,” he promised in the clip.

When Perez Hilton shared his new perspective in life

In April, Perez shared an update about his health, revealing that he needed emergency care for a massive blood clot. “God presented himself to me and then did something. Something I can only call miraculous… it was real, and this has been life-changing,” he said at the time, before adding, “I’ve been crying, but happy tears. Happy tears. Because this is just, this is just so crazy. I’ve been reading the Bible, and so much of what is said here I had already been thinking of. It’s just overwhelming in the best, most beautiful way.”Perez Hilton is currently receiving medical attention in the local hospital after Miami-Dade Fire Rescue ‘safely recovered’ him from his house.Disclaimer: This story is based on events as reported by a news source and is for informational purposes only.
