According to the latest live trade estimates from Sacnilk, the film ‘Jana Nayagan’ collected Rs 0.25 crore India net on Day 14 (Second Wednesday) from its 1,056 shows with 11.4% occupancy.With this, the film’s India gross collection has climbed to Rs 212.04 crore, while the India net total stands at Rs 181.80 crore. The final figures are yet to be reported and could improve after the remaining shows are counted. A day earlier, on Day 13 (Second Tuesday), the film earned Rs 2.10 crore from 3,967 shows with 17% occupancy.

Steady theatre run keeps Vijay’s film in the race

Despite the usual decline seen during weekdays, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has managed to retain a respectable number of screens across key markets. Tamil Nadu continues to contribute the biggest share of the collections, while the dubbed versions are adding to the overall earnings. Having comfortably crossed the Rs 200 crore India gross mark, the film remains in a strong position.
