Vikrant Massey marked the success of his latest Netflix series, ‘Musafir CafĂ©’, with a celebration in Mumbai, but it was a candid, heartwarming family moment that ended up stealing the evening. A sweet interaction between the actor and his young niece quickly became the highlight of the night, striking a chord with fans online.

The video captured Vikrant greeting his family before gently taking his niece by the hand and walking with her towards the photographers. The young girl, daughter of Vikrant’s brother Moeen, appeared delighted as she smiled and posed alongside her uncle for the cameras. The candid moment quickly won over the internet, with many praising the actor’s affectionate bond with his niece.

Vikrant’s family joined him for the celebration, including his mother, Meena Massey, and wife, Sheetal, with whom he also happily posed for photographs. For the evening, the actor kept it casual in a grey shirt, blue jeans and a red cap. ‘Musafir CafĂ©’ co-stars Mahima Makwana and Vedika Pinto were also present to celebrate the show’s success.

Beyond starring in the series, ‘Musafir CafĂ©’ also marks a personal milestone for Vikrant as his first outing as a producer. Speaking to The New Indian Express about his decision to back the show, Vikrant explained that his motivation was rooted in creating opportunities for newer talent. He said, “I’ve been in discussions with the Netflix team because I genuinely want to create opportunities for young people who remind me of myself when I was seventeen. Someone believed in me almost twenty years ago, and I want to pass that opportunity forward to many young Vikrants out there.”‘Musafir CafĂ©’ follows Chander Sharma, played by Vikrant, a software engineer who dreams of leaving behind his monotonous corporate life to open a cafĂ© in Mussoorie. His life takes a turn when he crosses paths with Sudha, an ambitious divorce lawyer who has grown wary of love after witnessing one too many marriages fall apart. As the two gradually fall for each other, they discover that sustaining a relationship can be a far greater challenge than simply falling in love.Based on Divya Prakash Dubey’s popular novel of the same name and shot amid the picturesque hills, the Hindi romantic drama features Vikrant Massey, Vedika Pinto and Mahima Makwana in lead roles, and premiered on Netflix on July 24, 2026.
