Manoj left embarrassed as Jaideep, Vijay touch his feet

'Jugnuma' premiere: Manoj Bajpayee left embarrassed as Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma and Anurag Kashyap touch his feet

‘Jugnuma’, the film is directed by Raam Reddy, and starring Manoj Bajpayee in the lead, held its premiere in Mumbai and one rather emotional moment from the grand event has captured fans’ attention. In a clip from the event, Manoj was left a little overwhelmed when Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, and director Anurag Kashyap lined up to touch his feet.

The Red carpet moment

The lighthearted moment instantly went viral, winning hearts on social media. Adding to the fun, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, who worked with Manoj in ‘The Family Man’ series, also sought his blessings.

While fans couldn’t stop praising this bond of mutual respect they shared, Manoj was seen looking a little embarrassed. The clip saw the actor smiling away at the affectionate gestures of his industry friends.

The bond between Manoj and Anurag

The friendship between Manoj Bajpayee and Anurag Kashyap has long been celebrated in Bollywood. Their journey began in the late ’90s when Kashyap, then a writer, worked on Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Satya’ (1998), where Manoj immortalised the role of Bhiku Mhatre. Years later, they collaborated with ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ – Part 1 (2012). Though whispers of a fallout surfaced during the promotions of ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ last year, the actor later clarified that it was merely a small misunderstanding that surfaced on social media.

Manoj praising Anurag

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Bajpayee talked candidly about their connection and also opened up that he and Anurag share a streak of anger. “Anurag is standing because of his own conviction. He’s made too many enemies in the process… I’d say I’m far more practical than him,” said ManojA Red Carpet Full of Heart.
