Political activist and conservative commentator Charlie Kirk has died after being shot during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted. His death was confirmed by US President Donald Trump in a Truth Social post.

A video of the incident, which quickly spread on social media, appears to show Kirk being struck in the neck. Witnesses reported significant blood loss immediately following the gunfire.
