Ranbir and Yash turn into Pookie Girl Dads, the duo colour Ram-Ravana sketches

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash turn into

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash went viral after a playful colouring contest at Comic-Con, promoting Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. While Ranbir coloured Lord Rama and Yash sketched Ravana, fans dubbed them “pookie girl dads” online. The two-part epic also stars Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, and Vivek Oberoi in key roles.

Among this year’s most eagerly awaited releases is Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. To kick off the film’s promotional run, the cast and crew appeared at San Diego Comic-Con, where a panel discussion was followed by a string of media interactions. Recently, Ranbir Kapoor and Yash took part in a playful coloring contest, and footage of the two actors engrossed in the activity has since gone viral online.

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash’s colouring contest moment

During the Review Nation interview, Ranbir and Yash appeared completely engrossed in coloring their respective illustrations with almost childlike enthusiasm, even as Nitesh discussed the film in the background. Ranbir focused on filling in a sketch of Lord Rama, while Yash carefully worked on his drawing of Ravana. Undeterred by the conversation happening around them, the two stayed absorbed in their artwork, resulting in an endearing, unplanned moment that quickly caught on across social media.

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash win over fans online

Several fans reacted to the video on X. One wrote, “#RanbirKapoor and #Yash along with Namit Malhotra are looking too cute while drawing. Raha is surely giving some training to Ranbir.” Another added, “Ranbir Kapoor and Yash forgot who they were and brought out their Inner child. Ranbir reminded me of a mischievous child while Yash was completely silent while drawing his artwork !!”. “Meet Pookie Girl Daddies… how are they both so much invested in drawing…#ranbir #yash. Taare zameen par,” noted another. A fourth user wrote, “RAHA effect now clearly visible… #RanbirKapoor be like : bhad me jaye interview painting pe focus krta Hu. Ranbir didn’t even look up to see what was going on. He was engrossed in his painting.”
