A social media post claiming that actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to appoint her as India’s next Education Minister has gone viral. The claim surfaced shortly after Dharmendra Pradhan stepped down from the post, but the widely circulated screenshot is not genuine. The post, designed to resemble Kangana Ranaut’s Instagram Stories, claimed that she had appealed to the Prime Minister for the Education Ministry. It read, “I request Narendra Modi ji to appoint me as the Education Minister of India. I understand the importance of education because I was the first person to show people the truth that India attained independence in 2014.”The fabricated post also included a satirical remark about the NEET examination, claiming students who watched Kangana’s films in theatres would receive bonus marks. It further joked that the move would end her “streak of flops.”
