Delhi Police has reportedly intensified its investigation into the violence during the student protest and Parliament March on July 20. According to police sources cited in the report, 15 FIRs have been registered, more than 2,000 suspected miscreants have been identified, and 130 police personnel and 65 students were injured during the clashes. Police have also reportedly used a Facial Recognition System, along with CCTV footage, social media analysis and digital evidence, to identify 216 wanted criminals allegedly present around the protest site. The investigation is examining whether the violence was part of a planned conspiracy to disrupt or derail the student movement. The report also claims that some individuals had criminal records and were allegedly involved in attempts to provoke violence. Meanwhile, an FIR related to the July 20 violence reportedly includes allegations of barricade-breaking, stone and footwear throwing, attacks on police personnel, and damage to government property and vehicles. Police have registered cases under several serious sections and are continuing their investigation into the incident.
