Twitch streamer TheMightyBA has become one of the most talked-about names after the events at Kai Cenat’s Streamer University 2026. The 19-year-old creator faced heavy criticism after a confrontation with fellow streamer MeesterKeem, and many people questioned whether the backlash could end his career before it truly began. However, fellow Twitch star Ludwig does not believe that will happen. During a conversation at the event, Ludwig told TheMightyBA that time and personal growth can completely change how people see a creator. He also pointed to IShowSpeed as someone whose public image changed dramatically over the years.

TheMightyBA: The Twitch creator at the centre of the Streamer University 2026 controversy

TheMightyBA is a Twitch partner who mainly creates Just Chatting and IRL content. He joined Twitch in September 2024 and has built an audience of nearly 15,000 followers. His streams currently average around 137 viewers. His name drew widespread attention during Streamer University 2026 after a video from July 17 showed him patting fellow streamer MeesterKeem on the head in what many viewers saw as a disrespectful move. MeesterKeem reacted immediately and confronted him, saying:“You on some content ?! Don’t ever ******* pat my head again! Okay?! I’m ******* sick and tired of bull, bro! Don’t pat my head again! I’m not your ******* son! All right, *****?! Don’t touch my hair again like that! That’s disrespectful! Also, no content ****! Don’t be disrespectful!”The incident led to criticism across platforms, with many viewers debating whether TheMightyBA had crossed the line while trying to create viral content.

Ludwig explains why he believes TheMightyBA can recover from the backlash

On July 19, X user @bloomjpg shared a video of Ludwig speaking with TheMightyBA at Streamer University. During the conversation, TheMightyBA asked if his career could recover after everything that had happened.Ludwig replied:“(TheMightyBA asks, ‘I’ll ask you a question. For what you know about content, do you think I’m ******? You think this **** could go 180 degrees just the other way?’) No. I don’t think so at all. I think, like, people love redemption arc, and I think that time is a beautiful thing. And I think you are 19 years old. I am 31 years old. In 12 years, okay, is this all you will ever be known for? I would hope not. I would think not.”To explain his point, Ludwig brought up Darren “IShowSpeed” as an example of someone whose reputation changed over time.He said:“Bro, IShowSpeed has had one of the biggest 180s in reputation I’ve ever seen. Yeah, IShowSpeed, I made a video about it because he used to get into Valorant lobbies with girls, and he would say, ‘What would happen if we were the last two people on Earth? Would you procreate?’ And then they would say, ‘No,’ and then he would say, ‘What are you going to do to stop me?’ Because he became somebody who is admirable. He became somebody who, I think, he wanted to be.”Ludwig’s comments suggest that while TheMightyBA is facing criticism now, he believes the young streamer still has time to learn from the controversy and build a different reputation in the years ahead.
