A massive wildfire continues to burn across Spain’s Zaragoza province, with strong winds making firefighting operations extremely difficult. According to the report, hundreds of firefighters, security personnel, and drone teams are working around the clock to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further. Around 450 personnel from various emergency and disaster management agencies have been deployed for the operation. Authorities are reportedly focusing on areas where there is the highest risk of the fire reigniting. Visuals from the region show vast stretches of forest engulfed in flames, with thousands of hectares of woodland affected by the wildfire. Despite continuous efforts by emergency responders, the intensity of the fire and adverse weather conditions have hampered containment operations. The report also states that the blaze has spread to nearby areas, increasing concerns for surrounding communities. Firefighting teams remain on high alert as they continue efforts to bring the wildfire under control and minimise further damage.
