Dhamaal 4 BO Collection Day 9 Live Update: Ajay film sees decline

'Dhamaal 4' Box Office Collection Day 9 Live Update: Ajay Devgn film sees decline, faces competition from ‘The Odyssey’, collects Rs. 2.49 cr net

Ajay Devgn’s ‘Dhamaal 4’ crossed Rs. 100 crore net by Day 9, though collections dipped to Rs. 2.49 crore that day, taking the total to Rs. 103.99 crore. Facing competition from Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ in premium formats, the comedy franchise’s fourth instalment, directed by Indra Kumar, continues its steady theatrical run.

Ajay Devgn’s ‘Dhamaal 4’ remains a strong performer at the box office, having wrapped up its opening week on a healthy note. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film crossed the Rs. 100 crore domestic net mark by Day 9, with the comedy franchise’s nostalgia factor keeping family audiences streaming into theatres.

‘Dhamaal 4’ faces stiff competition from ‘The Odyssey’

The real challenge, however, arrived in the second weekend, with Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic ‘The Odyssey’, released worldwide on July 17, 2026, taking over premium formats such as IMAX and large-format screens. Though the two films cater to distinct audience segments, Nolan’s release dented multiplex occupancy and premium show allocation for ‘Dhamaal 4’.

Dhamaal 4’s opening weekend and first-week trend

‘Dhamaal 4’ kicked off with a solid Rs. 14 crore on Day 1, before rising over the weekend to Rs. 22.50 crore on Day 2 and a franchise-best Rs. 28.50 crore on Sunday (Day 3). Monday brought the expected drop to Rs. 8.75 crore, but the film held steady through the rest of the week, earning Rs. 9.50 crore on Day 5 and Rs. 6.75 crore on Day 6.

Dhamaal 4’s Day 7 and Day 8 numbers

Collections eased further on Day 7, coming in at Rs. 6 crore net, marking an 11.1% drop from the previous day. This pushed the total India net to Rs. 96.00 crore and total India gross to Rs. 114.49 crore. On the overseas front, the film added Rs. 1.00 crore on Day 7, taking overseas gross to Rs. 18.25 crore and the worldwide gross to Rs. 132.74 crore by the close of Week 1. The film held a steady pace on Day 8 as well, earning Rs. 5.35 crore net across 8,154 shows nationwide, a modest 10.8% dip from the Rs. 6.00 crore collected the day before.

Dhamaal 4’s Day 9 collection

As per Sacnilk, ‘Dhamaal 4’ saw a decline on Day 9, collecting a net of Rs. 2.49 crore across 4,441 shows nationwide, taking its India net total to Rs. 103.99 crore (with gross earnings of Rs. 123.97 crore).
