Mouni Roy has responded after a viral video saw her losing her cool with paparazzi during a recent Mumbai outing.In the clip, which spread like wildfire across social media, the actress can be seen repeatedly asking photographers to stop filming her even after she got into her car. As the footage triggered widespread online discussion, Mouni later clarified her perspective through an Instagram post that has since been taken down.

Mouni Roy issues statement

Taking to her handle, the actress said she doesn’t want paparazzi to click her pictures anymore and made it clear that she never asks for photographers to follow her at public events. Mouni wrote, “Don’t pap me ever pls. I have not called you guys for long enough. Promise to love and respect you, but not call you. Please never come for me ever. Would be grateful. So next time anyone sees me papped, I haven’t called them. Don’t want you to pap me ever at all. Just stop, please. Please. Ever again. All my love and respect.”

The controversy started when Mouni was seen exiting a restaurant with actress Anusha Dandekar. As photographers kept filming her through the car window, Mouni looked visibly unsettled and asked them multiple times to stop. Clips from the moment captured her firmly saying, “Band karo” (Stop it), before the car drove off.
