Britney Spears addresses viral traffic photos: ‘I think I need to come out of the roof quite a bit more’

Britney Spears recently addressed her latest viral photos from the freeway, where she was seen hanging out of the sunroof of a car.

Recently, Britney Spears made headlines after it was reported that the singer had been spotted in public, sticking her body out of a car’s sunroof. While there had been a lot of debate and fanfare online about her actions, the pop icon put all rumors and comments to rest. He recently took to her social media account in order to clarify what had happened and shared her side of the story.

Britney Spears speaks out about recent viral photos

On July 8, The Daily Mail reported that the pop singer had been spotted sticking her upper body out of the sunroof area of a black SUV. The car had been spotted on the 101 Freeway near LA’s Studio City neighborhood that day, and had sparked concerns about her health and well being. The news came after Spears had been found guilty of driving under the influence, and had checked herself into a rehabilitation centre following the verdict. On July 11, the star finally addressed the situation after a lot of fans commented and reached out on social media about whether she was okay or not. She posted a photo of herself in traffic and further added, “What people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords !!!!! Yet the days and hours of my reality !!!!!! Nothing is what it seems. Psss I think I need to come out of the roof quite a bit more.”

More about the incident with Britney Spears

Reports also stated that the ‘Toxic’ singer had been wearing a yellow sundress at the time and was seen poking her upper body out of the sunroof. She was also spotted looking around and throwing her hand back, while the driver, who wore a cowboy hat and sunglasses, drove them off the California freeway.Later on, the two stopped at a nearby gas station as well. A statement read, “Britney just went through the sunroof for a quick moment. She wanted to see what the traffic was about up ahead because the cars came to a stop. She wanted to see how long they would be delayed.”This also follows a May report from TMZ, which had stated that Spears had been acting ‘erratically’ at a restaurant. On May 13, reportedly the singer had been spotted ‘barking and holding a knife’ at the Sherman Oaks’ Blue Dog Tavern. However, her legal representatives later addressed the matter and clarified what had happened. They stated while talking to PEOPLE that Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors. At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half. They further added, “This constant attack on everything that she does- and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person. This is ridiculous, and it needs to stop now.”
