Sir Sam Neill revealed his diagnosis and treatment for stage three angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) in his 2023 memoir, ‘Did I Ever Tell You This?’ According to the Cleveland Clinic, the rare disease is an aggressive blood cancer that affects the T cells (a type of white blood cell). Moreover, it is a fast-growing blood cancer that can spread to the lungs, liver or bone marrow.
