BREAKING: Vinayak Raut Family Faces FIR After Daughter-in-Law Alleges Black Magic and Harassment

A political controversy has erupted in Maharashtra after former Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Vinayak Raut, his son Gajanan Raut, and other family members were named in a police complaint filed by his daughter-in-law Girija Raut in Thane. The case has reportedly been registered under provisions related to the Maharashtra Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Act. In her complaint and statements, Girija Raut has made serious allegations of mental harassment, alleged pressure related to personal matters, and claims involving occult practices. She alleged that the family subjected her to distressing experiences over several years and accused them of using superstition-based practices. She also alleged that there was a difference between the family’s public image and their behaviour within the household. The complainant further claimed that she faced inappropriate treatment and emotional trauma during her time with the family. In interviews, she alleged that senior family members were aware of the situation and did not intervene. The allegations have attracted attention due to Vinayak Raut’s position as a senior political leader and former parliamentarian. However, Vinayak Raut has rejected all allegations against him and his family, calling the accusations false. He has claimed that the complaint was linked to a financial dispute and alleged that his daughter-in-law had demanded ₹5 crore, which he refused. He has denied any wrongdoing and maintained that the allegations are baseless. Police have initiated an investigation into the complaint, and further developments will depend on the evidence collected during the probe. The matter has sparked discussion around allegations of domestic disputes, superstition-related offences, and accountability involving public figures.
