About Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Blue Ivy
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been quite proud of their 14 year old daughter ever since she first started performing on stage with her mother. Time and time again, the two musicians have talked about her on-stage presence and her musical talents and have shared just how happy they are for her. While talking to GQ in an old interview, the singer had opened up about how it felt for him to see his daughter on stage. He had proudly replied by saying, “That was amazing. On the first tour, there was a lot of conversation around her first performance, and she worked really hard to get to that point, but she still wasn’t going for it. She still was going through the motions. And then she just started fighting back,” He further explained that Blue Ivy does not have everything handed to her, and has had to fight a lot of times to achieve and earn things.Further ahead, he shared that their daughter is also good at playing the piano and has great musical sense. He added, “Blue is a crazy pianist, but she won’t let us get her a teacher. She doesn’t want it to be a job. But she has perfect pitch. If she hears a song, she’ll be like ‘Play it again,’ and then she’ll teach herself. That’s just talent. She doesn’t work at that. She worked at this, and it makes me proud that she fought for something that she really wanted to do. I don’t think we’re going to be able to get her off that stage now.”The family attended the Met Gala earlier this year together. While children were not allowed to attend the event on their own, they could still join in on the festivities if accompanied by their parents. As for Blue Ivy, the 14 year old first joined her mother on stage in January 2023, during a planned and private concert in Dubai. Later that year, she surprised the world by joining her mother for her ‘Renaissance World Tour’ full time as a dancer. Go to Source
