The concepts underline MG’s focus on combining its British sporting heritage with next-generation electric mobility as the brand expands its global EV portfolio.
The MG GO! is a B-segment electric hatchback concept that previews a production model scheduled for launch in 2027. Designed by MG’s London Design Centre, the concept draws styling inspiration from classic MG models, including the MGB GT, while incorporating a contemporary electric vehicle architecture.
According to the company, the model is intended to bring greater design differentiation to the mainstream electric hatchback segment while retaining compact dimensions and everyday practicality.
Cyber Concept targets performance SUV space
MG also introduced the Cyber Concept, a large electric SUV that previews the company’s vision for a future D-segment performance model.
The concept combines high-performance electric powertrain architecture with SUV practicality, reflecting MG’s strategy of extending its performance-oriented “Cyber” sub-brand beyond sports cars into larger vehicle segments.
The design takes inspiration from the MG EX181 land speed record car, featuring athletic proportions and a coupe-inspired SUV profile.
Commenting on the unveiling, Jozef Kabaň, Vice-President of Global Design at MG, said the concepts reflect the company’s approach to creating electric vehicles with a distinct identity while blending technology with emotional design.
