‘Peddi’ OTT release: Who plays whom in the Ram Charan led sports drama makes its digital debut

After lighting up the box office, ‘Peddi’ finally makes its much-awaited OTT debut. Now available on Netflix, the rural sports drama starring Ram Charan can be watched by audiences across the globe from the comfort of their homes. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film was loved by the movie-goers for its emotional storytelling, action-packed sports sequences, and strong performances. ‘Peddi’ went on to become one of the biggest Telugu blockbusters of the year before landing on digital platforms.

‘Peddi’ arrives in multiple languages on OTT

‘Peddi’ digital premiere started on July 9, and it is available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Fans who missed the theatrical release can now stream the film online, but there is one big question looming over the OTT version. During its theatrical run, a few scenes involving Janhvi Kapoor’s character Achiyamma reportedly changed after the initial release. However, neither Netflix nor the makers have confirmed whether the streaming version carries the revised theatrical cut or the original version. The Hindi version is also yet to arrive on the platform, with an official update still awaited.

Who plays whom in Ram Charan’s village sports entertainer?

Ram Charan plays Peddi, the determined and fearless protagonist. He is a young man who has set out on his journey with passion, perseverance, and competitiveness. Janhvi Kapoor plays Achiyamma and adds emotion and warmth to the film. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar plays a pivotal role, while Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, Ajay Ghosh, Satya and Chammak Chandra strengthen the ensemble with memorable performances. Its highlight has been the music by Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman.

‘Peddi’ – One of the year’s biggest theatrical hits of 2026

‘Peddi’ is one of the most commercially successful movies of 2026 as it is said to have earned more than Rs 450 crore globally. Both the audience and critics have appreciated Ram Charan’s transformation and Buchi Babu Sana’s realistic narrative style. The film is now available for streaming on OTT platforms. The updated theatrical scenes are in the digital version, and audiences are waiting with bated breath to hear about it. It is one of the most talked-about aspects of Peddi’s OTT release.
