Fans have been given their first official glimpse at Doctor Doom’s throne from the upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ film. As shared on X, the major studio is building a commemorative structure at an expo in Shanghai, China that includes Robert Downey Jr. ‘s Doctor Doom’s throne marking the first time this iconic element has been confirmed for the movie and revealed to the public. The throne design appears to feature a predominantly white colour scheme with an ornate decorative structure positioned behind the actual seat. Visual design and architectural elements
The throne display includes a largely green backdrop that mirrors the background colouring seen in some ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ logos and title cards from trailers released thus far. A wider view of the entire expo booth showcases the official film symbol, a countdown timer to the movie’s release, and the logo in green.Additionally, a vertical banner positioned on the right side of the display features a silhouette of Doom’s mask, providing another new look at the character’s design that has not been previously revealed to audiences. The comprehensive nature of the expo display suggests careful consideration of how the villain will be visually presented throughout the film.
