Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi was recently seen on the big screen in her crime thriller, ‘Baby Do Die Do,’ which was released on July 3. After receiving positive responses from fans and other filmmakers, ‘Toxic’ director Geetu Mohandas shared her thoughts after watching the movie.

Geetu Mohandas praises the film

Geetu Mohandas praised Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Rachit Singh and the entire team in her social media post. She shared a picture with Huma and wrote, “I just watched Baby Do Die Do!! and this isn’t a review …just what it felt like to sit there surrounded by a story built by people I know… a sister and brother who bet on each other, a partner who delivered exactly what I always knew he had in him. I wasn’t watching strangers succeed. I was watching people I care about become exactly who I always knew they’d become.”

Geetu Mohandas also spoke about working with Huma Qureshi in their upcoming film ‘Toxic’. She said she already knew how talented Huma is and believes she will continue to achieve more in the future. She also praised Saqib Saleem and director Rachit Singh for their hard work and wished the entire team success.She wrote, “There is no surprise in me watching Huma. I know what she’s capable of and what she will set out to do in the future. BRAVO my Elizabeth. This isn’t just Huma’s film. It was a family’s risk, a family’s belief in each other, playing out in front of a paying audience. Well done Saqib And Rachit… I’ve seen him work with actors before, and I’ll say plainly… talent like his doesn’t come around often, and this is just the start of a fantabulous future for you. Congratulations to the entire film team for your stupendous success.”

Huma Qureshi reacts to her post

Reacting to the post, Huma wrote, “I’m crying reading this thank you Geetu.” Director Rachit Singh also replied, “Thank you for all your love and support.” Saqib Saleem also thanked Geetu and wrote, “Geetu Thank you for championing our baby.”

Speaking about the film, ‘Baby Do Die Do’ is the first film made under Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem’s production house, Saleem Siblings. In the film, Huma plays the role of a deaf and mute assassin named Baby Karmarkar.

Huma Qureshi’s next film

Meanwhile, she will be next seen in ‘Toxic’ playing the character Elizabeth alongside Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in important roles. The film will be released on August 26, 2026. Go to Source
