'I don't feel like myself anymore': Indian-origin couple's story of being punched, kicked by Chinese man at Switzerland hotel goes viral

An Indian couple claimed they were brutally attacked by a Chinese person at a hotel in Switzerland, unprovoked.

A Canada-based, Indian-origin couple’s vacation in Switzerland turned into a nightmare as they were assaulted by a Chinese man at the hotel where they stayed. They were kicked and punched without any provocation when they pointed out how unwelcome they felt at the hotel. The incident took place months ago, in June, and content creator Asish Rajput posted about it on his Instagram, sharing the photo of how the woman got her teeth fractured. “She avoids mirrors,” the viral post read. Nikita and Karan were in Switzerland on June 24 for the celebrations of several personal occasions — anniversary, birthday etc. They were staying in Seehotel Schwert, which the post said is managed by a Chinese family. The post claimed Nikita and Karan felt very unwelcome from the very beginning, only because of their skin. They raised a concern about a room fan that was taken away without informing them, but the hotel manager was reportedly very aggressive and refused to speak English. The next morning, they were checking out and again raised the fan incident. The hotel manager then attacked both Katan and Nikita, punching, kicking and hitting them on the face, abdomen, back and legs. He threw a hard metal object at Nikita’s face, leaving her severely injured. One of her teeth was kicked out from the root, and another 12 were fractured. “Both Nikita and Karan are suffering from severe PTSD, are on heavy medications, and Nikita is undergoing multiple dental surgeries. Her face has changed. Her confidence is shattered. She avoids mirrors,” the post said.”I don’t feel like myself anymore,” Nikita told Ashish Rajput. “While the physical injuries may take over a year to heal, the panic attacks, anxiety, and PTSD may haunt her forever. And yet — no one helped,” the post said. The hotel reportedly denied all the allegations and said the Indian-origin couple was very rude and they attacked first.
