Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on an official three-nation tour covering Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand, with Indonesia as the first stop. Images of his departure have surfaced, marking the beginning of a significant diplomatic visit aimed at strengthening India’s bilateral and strategic relations with these countries. In Indonesia, PM Modi is expected to hold high-level discussions with the leadership, focusing on expanding cooperation in areas such as defence, trade, investment, and regional security. The visit is being viewed as an important step toward deepening India–Indonesia ties, given the growing strategic importance of the Indo-Pacific region. After Indonesia, the Prime Minister will travel to Australia and New Zealand, where he is likely to participate in bilateral meetings and address key issues of mutual interest, including economic collaboration and security partnerships. Several agreements and MoUs are expected to be signed during the tour. PM Modi is also expected to meet members of the Indian diaspora, particularly in countries with a significant Indian community presence. The visit underscores India’s continued emphasis on strengthening global partnerships and expanding its diplomatic footprint.
