Jon Pardi and Summer announce divorce after 5 years: ‘Our daughters will always remain our highest priority’

Country singer Jon Pardi just shared a major life update with his fans. Taking to his social media account, the singer announced that after being married for 5 years, he and his partner, Summer, have chosen to part ways.

Jon Pardi reveals he’s getting divorced

The famed singer shared an Instagram post announcing the news, revealing that the couple had decided to part ways after being married for 5 years. He uploaded a joint post with Summer and wrote, “After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. Our daughters will always remain our highest priority, and we are committed to moving forward with love and respect as co-parents.”Pardi and Summer share two daughters, Presley Fawn, who is 3 years old, and Sienna Grace, who is 2 years old. They also thanked everyone for their understanding and support in the matter. Not only that but the singer also posted another update on his account, stating that in order to deal with everything happening with the family, he will be taking a step back from social media and his work.He concluded by adding, “Thanks to you all for the love and support. My team will handle posting for the time being. I’ll see you at the shows.” The couple have not shared any other updates about their split, nor have they detailed why they chose to part ways after 5 years.Jon is currently on his ‘Honkytonk Hollywood’ tour.

The couple first met in 2017 when they were set up on a blind date by Ellen Moxley. While talking to PEOPLE in an old interview, Summer stated that from the get-go, she felt Jon was the one for her. She commented, “Within the first five minutes of meeting Jon, it was game over for me. I texted my mom, ‘Sell my house, sell my car, send my dog.’” Two years later, Jon proposed to Summer during his ‘Heartache Medication tour’ live on stage while performing in Nashville. They got married a year later.
