How do exes Hrithik, Sussanne hang out together with their partners Saba, Arslan? Farah reacts

How exes Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan comfortably hang out together with partners Saba Azad and Arslan Goni? Farah Khan Ali says, 'Society is amused, why do you want someone to suffer?'

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan got married in 2000 and their divorce was finalised in 2014. While their separation left the industry shocked, the ex-couple continues to remain friends now and they are often seen hanging out together with their respective partners. For those not in the know, Sussanne Khan is now with Arslan Goni while Hrithik Roshan is in a relationship with Saba Azad. While the internet wonders how they are so comfortable with each other’s partners, in a recent interview, Sussanne’s sister Farah Khan Ali has opened up on their equation. She also came clear on rumours of Sussanne taking Rs 400 crore alimony from Hrithik. She said in an interview with Vickey Lalwani, “There was a lot of opinions which people had about their personal life but I think they both handled it all beautifully. It was amicable. One thing I want to say on record is that there was never Rs 400 crore alimony and I feel sick at the bottom of my heart when I see people online saying that Rs 400 crore was paid and Sussanne got richer. I mean that is such a lie. My dearest sister did not take anything. We come from a family and a mother who taught us that materialistic things are not important, relationships are more important. So, my sister did not take anything. That’s why today, the relationship she has with her ex-husband Hrithik and her ex in-laws, Pinkie and Rakesh Roshan is amazing. They love her. I think she conducted herself in a very sophisticated manner. She is not a gold-digger. She is very elegant. She comes from a khandani family. She is elegant and Hrithik also is a wonderful man. It didn’t work out for them but you don’t need to blow up your marriage for the sake of press. There was no alimony in this. It’s incorrect and completely bad.” She further said that she feels happy for Sussanne and Arslan as well as Hrithik and Saba. “It’s important to be happy in life if you want to be the best version of yourself. Be with people who make you happy. And Arslan is a wonderful man, he keeps her very happy. They found each other, compatibility with each other, they have similar interests. It’s nice to see the caring they have for each other. I’m happy for her. I’m happy for Hrithik and Saba also.” Farah was asked about Sussanne living-in with Arslan and she said, “No, they don’t live together. She lives with her two sons. Arslan lives separately.” She said that marriage is not a topic that’s being discussed, she’s very happy for them. She also spoke about how comfortable she is hanging out with her ex-husband DJ Aqeel, just how Hrithik and Sussanne are. “It’s important that people find people that make them happy. When we all get together, with everyone’s exes and everyone’s present. Society is amused about how we are so casual about it. But it’s not casual, it’s about having no animosity, having no baggage, no negativity. You’ve moved on so why shouldn’t you be happy for the person you have left. Why do you need someone else to suffer to be happy? Happiness is something which only grows when you make someone else happy, when you do something good for someone. It’s important to feel good about yourself.” This led to the interviewer mentioning Aamir Khan and how comfortable he is with his ex-wives. So much so, that he was recently in the same car with both his ex-wives and his current girlfriend who he is set to marry soon. “It’s so cool. Aamir is a cool dude. He must have respected each of his wives and their relationship for them to be so comfortable with him moving on with someone else. Every relationship that has respect, it gets easy for move on.”
