The production house had also dismissed speculation that ‘Alpha’ would bypass cinemas, maintaining that the film was designed specifically for the big-screen experience. According to reports, the studio believed the rumours unfairly undermined a female-led action film and expressed confidence that audiences would embrace the project just as they had previous YRF action entertainers.
Netflix to stream the film after its theatrical run
Now that ‘Alpha’ has officially released in theatres, the film is expected to arrive on Netflix after completing its box office journey. Although Yash Raj Films has not yet announced an official streaming date, the studio will likely follow its usual release pattern before bringing the film to OTT.
