The investigation into the alleged Ram Temple donation theft case has intensified, with Ayodhya Police likely to issue notices to Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, and Gopal Rao, according to sources. Their statements may be recorded as investigators widen the probe. Police are also expected to question several trust-linked individuals, bank employees, and security guards associated with donation collection and counting. The development comes after simultaneous raids at the homes of all eight accused, during which cash, jewellery, and documents were reportedly recovered. The eight accused are set to be produced before the court as their judicial custody ends. Sources indicate police may not seek fresh custody immediately, preferring to first analyze the seized evidence before deciding on further interrogation.
